Our main goal for breeding Border Terriers is to maintain their natural working ability. However, we do realize that most of our puppies will go to pet homes. They make wonderful pets and companions. All of our Borders were either imported from the UK or are from Borders that were imported. Our plans are to use only imported bloodlines. We are in no way competing with American show-Border breeders. All our Borders are AKC registered. The conformation and health of our Borders are what a hardy, working Border terrier should be. We have not had any of the health issues that we hear sometimes appear in the American lineage of show-type Borders. We have had no health issues with any puppy sold from our kennel and can provide references upon request .All of our puppies are vet checked, de-wormed and vaccinated before leaving our kennel. We have a veterinary technician currently working with us ensuring the best of care is provided. When you purchase a puppy from us, it is your puppy with no strings attached. However, if you have any questions after purchasing one, we are here for you. We do not sell to pet stores, dealers or puppy mills and are highly opposed to that sort of practice. GUARANTEE All our Border terrier pups are guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase.Should the puppy develop a genetic defect within the first twelve months of his/her life I will replace the puppy.I must be notified immediately by your veterinarian once the problem has been discovered.If you contact us during the first twelve months with a specific problem that may improve over time,the guarantee can be extended if mutually agreed. We will require full medical history to honor the guarantee,and the dog will be returned at the buyers expense.All vet fees are to be paid in full by buyer before the dog is returned.This guarantee applies only to the orgional buyer and is null and void if the dog was purchased under false pretenses,abused or bred prior to being returned.We have been breeding Borders for several years now and have never had a dog returned.Our dogs are not American bred show dogs so we havent seen the problems they say are in American bred Borders. |

Ask for names of other buyers who have purchased their puppies. If they refuse, find a different place to buy your pup.The internet puppy sites are full of puppy mill breeders that breed lots of cheap quality pups...be SURE to check out the person you are talking to. I bred and trained show horses since childhood.I'm now retired (AND GETTING A LITTLE GRUMPY)..I am working on 70+yrs (passed fast I must say) I believe I know about as much about breeding quality animals as most people my age.Horses or dogs its all the same. Start with good sound animals and stick with em.Put some thought into what you are breeding.Try to improve what you have year to year.Be Honest with yourself...thats the most important thing.
